Elijah Sariñana is a Mexican/Nahua writer and filmmaker committed to telling atypical Indigenous and Latinx/e-led stories, crafting universal narratives through a lens of specificity. He specializes in genre, with a focus on sci-fi, horror, and fantasy. Elijah’s voice is shaped by his culture and ancestry. Storytelling isn’t just his passion, it’s in his blood.

His work spans screen and audio, including projects for iHeartRadio and Sonoro Media. He was a writer on Nocturno: Tales From the Shadows, the acclaimed horror anthology series starring Danny Trejo, and is currently developing Vastland Saga, a transmedia sci-fi franchise led by the mobile-native vertical series March of the Inferno.

Elijah blends mythos, resistance, and speculative worldbuilding into emotionally resonant storytelling. He is dedicated to expanding what genre can look and feel like when told with a heart anchored in the past and a mind set toward the future.

 

When Elijah is not busy writing, he is busy thinking about writing. But he also has a life. And a wife. And hobbies. And two very supportive/spoiled dogs.
